FC St. Pauli slipped to a 2-0 defeat against VfL Bochum on the final day of the season, but their Bundesliga status is secure. Myron Boadu gave the visitors a 10th minute lead in front of another packed house at the Millerntor and doubled the advantage midway through the second half. Though the Boys in Brown could not ward off the defeat, they were able to celebrate staying up with the fans after the final whistle.

The scoreless draw in the friendly at Hertha BSC marked the return to first-team action of Connor Metcalfe and Robert Wagner. After long injury layoffs, both players were naturally delighted to be back on the pitch alongside their teammates.
