Ohlsson: "I try to impress with my tackling and 100 per cent effort"

A cohesive team performance, including a decent showing from Sebastian Ohlsson, eased the Boys in Brown to a 4-2 victory over FC Heidenheim, who only narrowly missed out on promotion last season. The right-back began the week looking back over the win with the media, but also turned his attention to Friday's trip to Sandhausen.

...the good start to the season with four points from two games: "It's not easy against Bochum away from home and Heidenheim were really good opponents who finished third last year. They were tough games for us, but we've started well. I look back on the first two games with satisfaction. We showed good spirit, played some good football and took up the fight."
...the first game with fans: "It was great to have at least some fans back again. There were only about 2,000 of them but it sounded like more. It was a good start but we'd obviously love to have the ground full again. I miss the sell-out crowds, it's just a totally different atmosphere."
...playing with Jannes Wieckhoff: "It's fun, I like playing with younger players and try to help them. I think it's working out pretty well with Jannes. I try to help him and make it as easy as possible for him. It doesn't feel like we've only played two and a half games together."

...the wait for his first goal for St. Pauli: "Ten tackles are one goal for me, so I must have scored three against Heidenheim (he laughs). My first goal will come, but I don't care who scores, all I care about is that we score."
...his targets for the season: "It may sound boring, but I'm really only concentrating on the next game. We can be happy to have beaten Heidenheim, but from Wednesday the focus is already back on SV Sandhausen. We want to get another three points before the first international break."
...the Sandhausen game: "It's the first time for me at Sandhausen, I missed out last year because of a one-match ban, so I don't know the stadium yet, but I do know the team. It's going be tough because Sandhausen are strong at home."
...his leadership role: "We have lots of leaders in the team. I might not be one to talk a lot in the dressing room, but I try to be a leader in every game. I don't talk much on the pitch either, I try to impress with my tackling and 100 per cent effort. I hope I'm someone who leads the young players well and also someone they can look up to."
