Friendlies lined up against Bremer SV, Greuther Fürth and Norwich City

The first three friendlies in preparation for the 2024/25 Bundesliga campaign have been lined up. The Boys in Brown will face Bremer SV a few days into pre-season in mid-July before taking on second-division outfit Greuther Fürth at training camp. They will also go to Norwich City of the English Championship in early August.

The first pre-season friendly sees the Boys in Brown go up against fourth-tier side Bremer SV in Malente on Saturday, 13 July (15.30 CET). Ticket information will be released in due course.

Greuther Fürth will provide the opposition at the club's Austrian training camp on Friday, 19 July. The match will kick off at 18.00 CET in Kufstein. For new recruit Robert Wagner that means a reunion with his former teammates. The midfielder spent last season on loan at Fürth from SC Freiburg and delivered a string of impressive performances, contributing four goals and five assists in 31 appearances.

An initial highlight will come around on 3 August (kick-off TBC) when the Boys in Brown go to English Championship side Norwich City. Ticket information will be announced in due course. The Canaries ended last season in sixth place to qualify for the play-offs, where they lost out against Leeds United. A scoreless draw at Carrow Road was followed by a 4-0 thumping in the second leg at Leeds.

More friendlies are in the pipeline, with details to be announced in due course.
