BURGSTALLER, DITTGEN, MAKIENOK AND DASCHNER ON TARGET IN 4-0 WIN AT LOHNE
The Boys in Brown followed up the 2-0 win at league rivals Hannover 96 with a 4-0 defeat of fifth-division BW Lohne in front of 600 spectators on Wednesday evening. Guido Burgstaller gave his side a long overdue lead just before the break before Maximilian Dittgen, Simon Makienok and Lukas Daschner added further goals in the second half.

Home opener against Kiel and Aue trip both on Sunday
The German Football League (DFL) announced the kick-off times for the first two rounds of matches on Wednesday lunchtime. The Boys in Brown kick off against Holstein Kiel on Sunday, 25 July (13:30 CET) before going to Erzgebirge Aue on Sunday, 1 August (13:30 CET).

BECKER AND MAKIENOK ON TARGET IN 2-0 WIN AT HANNOVER
FC St. Pauli made a successful start to their pre-season campaign, winning 2-0 at fellow second-division side Hannover 96 on Saturday afternoon. The Boys in Brown were the better team in the first half and took a deserved lead on 36 minutes through Finn Ole Becker. Though Hannover stepped up a gear after the interval, Simon Makienok doubled the advantage a quarter of an hour from the end.

Boys in Brown start season at home against Kiel – first derby in week 3
The German Football League (DFL) released the fixture list for the 2021/22 season on Friday afternoon, with the Boys in Brown kicking off at home game for the first time since 2015. Holstein Kiel are the visitors to the Millerntor on the last weekend of July. The first derby of the season is scheduled for week 3 at the Millerntor, with the return taking place in January.

For tolerance and diversity: three rainbow flags fly above Millerntor Stadium
As a symbol of tolerance and diversity, the rainbow flag flies above the South Stand of the Millerntor Stadium all year round. In light of recent events, the flags with the skull and crossbones and the club crest, which can normally be seen there, too, have been replaced by another two rainbow flags.

Supervisory board proposes Göttlich for office of president
The supervisory board of FC St. Pauli will propose current president Oke Göttlich for re-election at the ordinary general meeting. As one of its duties under the club constitution, the supervisory board has conducted an in-depth review of the work of the presidential board. During this structured process, the supervisory board members spent the last few months looking at suitable candidates and assessing them against their vision for a successful future for the club.
