KNOLL JOINS ST. PAULI ON FOUR-YEAR DEAL
The first piece of business for the 2018/19 season is done and dusted. FC St. Pauli have signed Marvin Knoll from Jahn Regensburg. The 27-year-old centre-back has signed a deal that will keep him at the club until 30 June 2022.

ST. PAULI LOSE 4-2 ON PENALTIES IN PORTLAND
FC St. Pauli were beaten 4-2 on penalties in the friendly against Portland Timbers 2 on Tuesday. Sami Allagui and Dimitrios Diamantakos had fired the Boys in Brown into a two-goal lead, but Augustine Williams restored parity for the home side with a late brace. In a heated final few minutes, Ersin Zehir and Timbers defender Arturo Diz Pe were sent off following a scuffle.

Day 8: Magical moments and meet-up with the Timbers
Day seven of the US tour ended with a magical evening for the Boys in Brown at the David Blaine show in Portland. The magician, who has been known to sew his mouth shut and then open it up again to reveal a hidden playing card, amazed the audience not only by staying under water in a glass tank for more than ten minutes but also with a host of other tricks.

DAY 7: VISIT TO OREGON HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL
The Boys in Brown had another early start on Monday morning in Portland, but because of the jet lag this didn't present any problems. The first port of call on day seven was the campus of equipment suppliers Under Armour. The delegation then paid a visit to the Oregon Holocaust Memorial.

Day 6: bye-bye Detroit – hello, Portland!
"The atmosphere was absolutely incredible, it was tremendous fun", said Markus Kauczinski after the 6-2 win against Detroit City, just as enthused by the noise inside the ground as the rest of the St. Pauli delegation. Almost every member of the FCSP party left the Keyworth Stadium with an earworm caused by the infectious chants coming from the stands.

SIX-STAR ST. PAULI WIN OPENING GAME IN DETROIT
In perfect Hamburg weather FC St. Pauli won the first friendly of their US tour 6-2 against Detroit City on Saturday evening. Sami Allagui (2), Seung-Won Lee, Marcell Sobotta, Dimitrios Diamantakos and Luca Zander got the goals for the Boys in Brown, Trevor Amann and Rafael Mentzingen replied for the home side.
