ZANDER AND NEUDECKER ON TARGET IN 2-1 WIN AT MAINZ
FC St. Pauli beat Bundesliga outfit FSV Mainz 2-1 on Thursday afternoon in a friendly that was only agreed at short notice and therefore held behind closed doors for organisational reasons. Jeremy Dudziak put through his own net after Richard Neudecker had opened the scoring at the Bruchweg Stadium, but Luca Zander restored the advantage just after the break.

BOUHADDOUZ PENALTY NOT ENOUGH AS IT ENDS ALL SQUARE AT THE BETZENBERG
FC St. Pauli missed out on making it four wins in a row at the Betzenberg on Saturday afternoon. After substitute Aziz Bouhaddouz had converted a penalty awarded for a last-man foul on Sami Allagui by Jan-Ingwer Callsen-Bracker (red card), the ten men of Kaiserslautern recovered to level the scores through substitute Lukas Spalvis and leave the Boys in Brown highly frustrated.
