BOYS IN BROWN EXIT CUP AFTER 2-1 DEFEAT AT UNION BERLIN
FC St. Pauli lost 2-1 at Union Berlin in the quarter-final of the DFB Cup on Tuesday evening. After Kofi Kyereh had given the Boys in Brown a 21st minute lead, the home side equalised on the stroke of half-time through Sheraldo Becker. Substitute Andreas Voglsammer then settled it for the hosts with 15 minutes left.

BOYS IN BROWN TAKE ALL THREE POINTS AT INGOLSTADT
FC St. Pauli won 3-1 at FC Ingolstadt on Saturday afternoon. Daniel-Kofi Kyereh, Guido Burgstaller and Simon Makienok got the goals in front of 5,511 spectators, with Eckert Ayensa on target for the home side.

SCHULTZ: "A DAY TO FORGET"
The 3-0 defeat against Hannover 96 was an unaccustomed feeling for the Boys in Brown, given that it was their first home reverse since May 2021. Afterwards, there was no disagreement in the home dressing room that the impressive visitors were well worth their victory.

HANNOVER CONDEMN BOYS IN BROWN TO OPENING HOME DEFEAT
FC St. Pauli slipped to their first home defeat of the season, going down 3-0 against Hannover in front of 8,470 fans on Sunday afternoon. Dominik Kaiser gave the visitors the lead just before half-time before Sebastian Kerk and Sebastian Stolze extended their advantage in the second period. On a day when everything seemed to go wrong for the Boys in Brown, both Guido Burgstaller and Daniel-Kofi Kyereh missed from the penalty post. It was the first home league defeat since a 2-1 reverse in May 2021, when Hannover were again the visitors.
