BOYS IN BROWN END ON A HIGH AFTER 2-1 WIN OVER BOCHUM
At last! FC St. Pauli kicked off the second half of the season with their second home win of the season, defeating VfL Bochum 2-1 in front of 29,005 at the Millerntor. Goals from Lasse Sobiech and Jan-Marc Schneider opened up a two-goal lead before Lukas Hinterseer reduced the deficit 15 minutes from time. Bochum's Anthony Losilla was then sent off in the 90th minute.

BOYS IN BROWN AIM TO SIGN OFF ON POSITIVE NOTE
The football year comes to an end for the Boys in Brown with a home game against VfL Bochum on Monday evening. After eight games without a win, Markus Kauczinski's side aim to get back to winning ways at long last and enter the winter break on a positive. To do that, however, they will need to unhinge the best defence in the league at the moment.

GREAT MORALE BUT MSV HAVE LAST WORD IN 2-2 DRAW
FC St. Pauli and new head coach Markus Kauczinski played host to MSV Duisburg at the Millerntor on Sunday. In front of a sell-out crowd Kevin Wolze gave the visitors the lead from the penalty spot. The Boys in Brown came from behind after the break thanks to goals from Waldemar Sobota and Lasse Sobiech but Stanislav Iljutcenko levelled the scores after Aziz Bouhaddouz had been sent off.
