Dittgen: "You can't let up an inch because otherwise someone will overtake you"
The 4-1 home win over FC Ingolstadt 04 was followed by a 3-1 victory at Karlsruher SC, the first on the road this season. Maximilian Dittgen, who returned to the starting lineup against Ingolstadt, contributed to both wins with excellent performances. The versatile attacking player has no intention of letting up, not simply to keep his place in the side, but also to chalk up another success with his teammates against Dynamo Dresden.

BOYS IN BROWN SEAL 3-1 OPENING AWAY WIN AT KSC
FC St. Pauli accomplished their first away win of the season in the eighth round of second division matches on Saturday. An own goal from Marius Gersbeck set the Boys in Brown on the way to a 3-1 victory at Karlsruher SC in front of a sell-out 12,500 crowd at the BBBank Wildpark. Guido Burgstaller added a second from the spot before Daniel-Kofi Kyereh put the result beyond doubt. Fabian Schleusener grabbed a late consolation goal for the hosts.

BOYS IN BROWN HIT INGOLSTADT FOR FOUR IN FOURTH HOME WIN ON THE BOUNCE
FC St. Pauli beat FC Ingolstadt 4-1 on Sunday afternoon to make it four home wins out of four in front of 13,917 fans at the Millerntor. After being denied several times by the impressive Fabijan Buntić in the Ingolstadt goal, the Boys in Brown took a deserved lead through Luca Zander in the 34th minute. Maximilian Dittgen made it 2-0 after the interval and Guido Burgstaller added a third before Merlin Röhl pulled one back for the visitors, only for Christopher Buchtmann to restore his side's three-goal advantage just moments later.

BOYS IN BROWN OUT TO EXTEND 100% HOME RECORD AGAINST INGOLSTADT
The Boys in Brown entertain FC Ingolstadt 04 on Sunday (13:30 CET) in the first of three successive home games against the promoted sides, with Dynamo Dresden due to travel to the Millerntor in October followed by Hansa Rostock. The objective going into Sunday's matchup is clear: to claim all three points, as in the preceding home games against Holstein Kiel (3-0), HSV (3-2) and Jahn Regensburg (2-0).
