Banks wants to be effective
Scott Banks has had an exciting first few weeks at FC St. Pauli. The Scottish loanee made his league debut for the Boys in Brown at Greuther Fürth a week last Sunday and then had his first run-out at the Millerntor at the weekend, adding plenty of momentum on the right wing when he came on as a substitute. On Tuesday morning, the 21-year-old introduced himself to the Hamburg media.

HÜRZELER BEMOANS LACK OF LUCK IN FRONT OF GOAL
The Boys in Brown drew a blank again at home to Magdeburg on Sunday afternoon following two additional scoreless draws against Düsseldorf and Fürth. After the game, the consensus in the home camp was that only one team was going to win it, just that the ball wouldn’t go in.

BOYS IN BROWN LEFT FRUSTRATED AS HATFUL OF CHANCES GO BEGGING AGAINST MAGDEBURG
FC St. Pauli were held to a goalless draw by FC Magdeburg in front of a sell-out crowd at the Millerntor on Sunday. The Boys in Brown were the better side from the off but were unable to convert their superiority into goals and eventually had to settle for a third scoreless draw in succession.

Ritzka: "I was made to feel appreciated"

Aremu joins Kaiserslautern
FC St. Pauli have agreed terms with league rivals FC Kaiserslautern, who provided the opposition for the Boys in Brown on the opening day of the season, for the transfer of Afeez Aremu. The two clubs have agreed not to disclose any details of the deal.

LATE ALBERS STRIKE RULED OUT IN FÜRTH STALEMATE
FC St. Pauli and Greuther Fürth played out a scoreless draw in front of 12,207 spectators at Sportpark Ronhof | Thomas Sommer on Saturday afternoon. The 40th meeting between the two teams was an evenly balanced affair and the first to end without a goal in 23 years. The Boys in Brown squandered several opportunities in the closing stages, and Andreas Albers had a late goal ruled out for offside.
