Hartel leaves FC St. Pauli
Marcel Hartel is departing the Millerntor for an as yet unknown destination after three years at FC St. Pauli. “My time here was outstanding,” said the 28-year-old midfielder before thanking the club and the fans for their support. FC St. Pauli would also like to say thank you for the time spent together and wishes Hartel all the very best for the future.

The Boys in Brown pushed themselves to the limit again at Wehen Wiesbaden, coming from behind to win 2-1 and bring the championship shield to Hamburg. Players and head coach alike were obviously ecstatic after the final whistle.

ALBERS AND SINANI FIRE BOYS IN BROWN TO LEAGUE TITLE
FC St. Pauli won 2-1 at Wehen Wiesbaden on the final day of the 2023/24 season to secure the second-division title. The Boys in Brown were the better team from the off, but it was Wiesbaden who led at the break thanks to an 11th minute strike from Franko Kovačević. Substitute Andreas Albers levelled the scores shortly after the restart before fellow sub Danel Sinani struck eight minutes from time to give his side the decisive edge in the championship race over Holstein Kiel, who won 2-1 at Hannover 96.

A Hamburg lad winning promotion in Hamburg is about as good as it gets, and for Hauke Wahl, the dream came true at FC St. Pauli. A correspondingly upbeat centre-back took questions from the media after training on Thursday.
