FOUR IN A ROW – BOYS IN BROWN EDGE TOWARDS SAFETY
St. Pauli took another giant step on Friday evening with their fourth victory in succession against FC Heidenheim. In front of another sell-out crowd the Boys in Brown played themselves into a veritable frenzy to win 3-0. After a first half low on highlights Ewald Lienen's gained the advantage with two quick goals. Ex-St Pauli man John Verhoek put through his own net and Mats Møller Dæhli punished a Heidenheim mistake before Aziz Bouhaddouz's killer goal finally raised the Millerntor roof.

St. Pauli won 3-1 at Fortuna Düsseldorf on Friday evening to secure three crucial points in the battle for second division survival. In a furious finish with two sendings-off for the home side, Andre Hoffmann put Fortuna ahead before goals from Philipp Ziereis, Christopher Buchtmann and Aziz Bouhaddouz turned it round for Ewald Lienen's men.
