ZIEREIS: "THE DEFEAT'S OK IN THE END"
The 1-0 defeat at Erzgebirge Aue was a "sickener" or even "a real sickener", depending on which player you were talking to, but all in all it was not undeserved. We spoke to Lasse Sobiech, Philipp Ziereis and Philipp Heerwagen in the mixed zone after the game and also got the views of Aue's strike pairing of Dimitrij Nazarov and Nicky Adler.

BOYS IN BROWN BEATEN BY THE ONLY GOAL AT AUE
St. Pauli came away empty-handed from Erzgebirge Aue in the clash of two teams fighting to avoid relegation. Ewald Lienen's side improved after a poor first half in which Nicky Adler gave the home side the lead with a wonderful effort, but in a game low on highlights they were unable to come up with an equaliser.

FULL SPEED AHEAD AGAINST AUE DESPITE BUSY SCHEDULE
"There'll be no opening the throttle just a bit because we have enough players who are fresh and ready to play," said midfielder Christopher Buchtmann ahead of Friday's game at Erzgebirge Aue. Rest assured, not one player will be going at half pace in the hope of having slightly fresher legs for the next two fixtures, at home against SV Sandhausen (Tuesday, 4. April, 1730 CET) and at FC Nürnberg (Friday, 7 April, 1830 CRT). The Boys in Brown (15th in the table) know they will have to give 100 per cent if they are to overcome their close rivals in the battle against relegation (Aue are 17th).
